2023 PSL Final Squads Announced with 36 Foreign Players

The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced PSL 2023 final squads with some exciting changes in each team roster for the 8th season. While the tournament is set to begin on February 13, a total of six teams have already finalized their players in various categories in today’s draft event. We have compiled the details for all retained players as well as new picks under Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver, Emerging and Supplementary categories.

Sri Lanka’s 2022 Asia Cup winning duo of Wanindu Hasaranga and Bhanuka Rajapaksa, England and Australia’s ICC T20 Men’s World Cup winners Adil Rashid and Matthew Wade, respectively, New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham and Tabraiz Shamsi of South Africa will make their HBL Pakistan Super League debuts in the eighth edition of the tournament, which will be held across four cities from 13 February to 19 March 2023.

The 36 foreign players picked up in the draft were from 10 T20I playing countries, including Afghanistan (five), Australia (three), England (10), Ireland (two), Namibia (one), New Zealand (four), South Africa (four), Sri Lanka (two), West Indies (four) and Zimbabwe (one).
