
Former Australian captain Aaron Finch will headline the Punjabi Sher squad in the much-anticipated Legend 90 League, scheduled to take place in Raipur from February 6 to 18. Joining Finch are marquee players such as Indian cricketer Saurabh Tiwari and former Afghanistan star Noor Zadran, adding significant strength to the Punjabi Sher lineup.
Earlier this month, Punjabi Sher was officially unveiled as the newest entrant in the Legend 90 League, along with the team’s regal logo. The logo, featuring a crown at its center atop armor, symbolizes strength, royalty, and dominance, reflecting the competitive spirit of the franchise.

The Punjabi Sher franchise is owned by Shubh Infra, a prominent real estate company known for innovation and excellence. Speaking about the team’s ambitions, Harish Garg, Director of Shubh Infra, expressed confidence in their squad. “With legendary players like Aaron Finch, we are poised to make a strong impact in the Legend 90 League,” Garg said. The Legend 90 League boasts a unique 90-ball-per-side format, which promises fast-paced and thrilling cricket. The tournament will feature legendary players like Harbhajan Singh, Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, and New Zealand’s Ross Taylor. Eight dynamic franchises, including Chhattisgarh Warriors, Haryana Gladiators, Dubai Giants, Gujarat Samp Army, Delhi Royals, Big Boys, Punjabi Sher, and Rajasthan Kings, will compete for the title in what is shaping up to be a festival of cricket.
