AB de Villiers has praised Yadav’s shot selection and technique acknowledging Yadav’s unique skills to execute shots that even he had never attempted during his illustrious career. De Villiers believes that Yadav’s biggest challenge will be consistency across all formats and to adapt his game to the demands of Test cricket, One Day Internationals (ODIs), and T20Is.
During a conversation with JioCinema on Home of Heroes, de Villiers expressed his admiration for Yadav’s batting madness, stating, “I think it’s incredible. I think he’s pulling off shots that I never did. I really do, when it gets going, it’s lovely to watch. I think he’s got a long way to go still. I think there’s more to come. I think there’s even a better player in the future, so that’s very exciting.”
