Pakistan has drafted right-arm seamer Abbas Afridi and all-rounder Jahandad Khan into the squad for the third and final ODI against Zimbabwe, replacing injured pacers Ahmed Daniyal and Shahnawaz Dahani. The match is set to take place at the Queens Park Sports Club in Bulawayo on Thursday.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed that Ahmed Daniyal suffered a hamstring injury, while Shahnawaz Dahani sustained a left ankle injury during a training session on Sunday. Both players have been ruled out for the remainder of the series and will return to Pakistan for further treatment after initial scans confirmed their injuries.

As replacements, Abbas Afridi (23) and Jahandad Khan (21) were brought in ahead of the final ODI. Both players were already part of Pakistan’s squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe, set to begin on December 1.
Also, Aamir Jamal has been named as Daniyal’s replacement in the T20I squad.
The series, so far, has been an eventful one for Pakistan. After being stunned by Zimbabwe in the first ODI, where the hosts secured an 80-run win via the DLS method, Pakistan bounced back in the second match. Powered by opener Saim Ayub’s explosive century, Pakistan chased down a modest target of 146 in just 18.2 overs without losing a wicket.
The third ODI will serve as the series decider, with Pakistan aiming to carry their momentum from the second game into the finale.
