He was also adjudged Player of the Match for his performance in New Zealand’s eight wicket win.
Andy Bichel, 7/20
Andy Bichel registered the second-best bowling figures in the history of the ODI competition after his compatriot Glenn McGrath. The pacer became the stand out performer with his stellar seven-wicket haul in his 10 overs against arch-rivals England in the 2003 World Cup. The rival team could only manage to target him for 20 runs as he concluded with an economy of 2.00 in Australia’s narrow two-wicket win.

The legendary Aussie pacer recorded the best figures in the history of the ODI World Cup in 2003 against Namibia. After posting a humongous 301 runs in their 50 overs, Australia extended their domination as McGrath sliced the Namibia batting line-up with a seven-wicket haul for just 15 runs at a stunning economy of 2.14.
