The Bangladesh Cricket Board has officially announced the schedule for an upcoming three-match T20I series against Pakistan, slated to begin on July 20 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. The announcement was confirmed on Wednesday via the International Cricket Council (ICC) official website.
This bilateral series marks a quick rematch between the two sides, who recently met in Pakistan earlier this month. Bangladesh will be eager to bounce back after suffering a series sweep in that encounter. With next year’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup drawing closer, both teams will look to use the July fixtures as critical preparation in subcontinental playing conditions.

All three T20Is will take place at the iconic Sher-e-Bangla venue, offering consistent conditions and strong home support for the hosts. The schedule offers both teams a timely opportunity to refine their combinations, experiment with lineups, and adapt strategies under pressure.
The upcoming series also adds to Bangladesh’s packed international calendar. The Tigers are currently in the midst of an all-format tour of Sri Lanka, which includes two Tests, three One-Day Internationals, and three T20Is. The Test series has already begun, with the first match in Galle ending in a draw and the second currently underway in Colombo.
The ongoing Tests against Sri Lanka also serve as Bangladesh’s entry into the new cycle of the ICC World Test Championship, further intensifying the need for performance consistency across all formats.
