In the first match, the Southern Spartans opted to field after winning the toss and immediately put the Rajasthan Regals under pressure. The Regals lost opener S Srinivas cheaply for 3 off 8 balls, and despite a steady 33 off 32 balls from Sri Lankan legend T Dilshan, the team struggled to build momentum. Mehul Patel fought back with a gritty 30 off 25 balls, but the Regals could only post 138/8 in their 20 overs. Abhimanyu Mithun shone with the ball, delivering a disciplined spell to claim 2/17.

The Marines’ chase seemed straightforward, but Imran Tahir’s brilliant spell of 4/10 in the powerplay left them reeling at 30/5. Amid the chaos, Manan Sharma held his nerve, anchoring the innings with an unbeaten 39 off 33 balls to guide the Marines to victory in the 16th over with four wickets in hand. Karia’s bowling heroics earned him the Man of the Match award.
