The International Cricket Council (ICC) has kicked off the excitement for the Champions Trophy 2025 by unveiling an electrifying promotional video. The highly anticipated tournament, hosted by Pakistan under a hybrid model, promises a thrilling contest among the world’s top cricketing nations.
The promotional video features some of the most iconic players in contemporary cricket, including Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi and Shadab Khan, India’s Hardik Pandya, and Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi. The players are seen discussing the challenges and sacrifices they endure to claim the prestigious Champions Trophy, symbolizing the fierce competition expected during the event.

In a unique arrangement, Pakistan will host the tournament under a hybrid model. Due to ongoing political tensions, India will play all their matches at neutral venues, ensuring the tournament proceeds smoothly while accommodating both teams.
Both India and Pakistan are set to lock horns at a neutral venue in Dubai on February 23.
The tournament will feature eight of the world’s best cricketing nations divided into two groups:
- Group A: Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh
- Group B: South Africa, Australia, Afghanistan, and England
Adding to the excitement, the ICC recently revealed the official logo for the Champions Trophy 2025. The design reflects the spirit of global cricket and the intense competition that the event embodies.
