Hardik Pandya Confident About MI’s IPL 2025 Picks: “We Have Found the Right Mix”

Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Hardik Pandya expressed confidence in the team’s selections during the IPL 2025 mega-auction, describing the squad as a perfect blend of youth and experience. In a video shared on MI’s social media, Hardik reflected on the challenges of auction dynamics and praised the outcome, saying, “The auction dynamics are always tricky. You get emotional because you want certain players, but ultimately, it’s about building a complete team. I think we’ve done that.”

Hardik worked closely with the coaching staff to finalize the team’s strategy and ensure they targeted the right players. Highlighting the key additions, he said, “We have experienced players like Trent Boult returning and Deepak Chahar joining us, alongside young talents like Will Jacks, Robin Minz, and Ryan Rickelton. I believe we’ve covered all the bases and found the right mix.”

The MI captain also shared a motivational message for the young players joining the team. Drawing from his personal journey with the franchise, Hardik said, “To the young guns joining Mumbai Indians, remember, if you’re here, it’s because you have that spark. The scouts found me, Jasprit Bumrah, Krunal Pandya, and Tilak Varma, and we all eventually represented India. Train hard, work hard, and let the team’s excellent facilities help you flourish.”
