Shastri’s support comes amidst Sharma’s underwhelming performance in the ongoing five-match series against Australia.

The series is currently level at 1-1 following India’s commanding 295-run victory in Perth, powered by stellar performances from Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
