India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has reached a remarkable milestone in the ICC Men’s Test Bowling Rankings, achieving 904 rating points. This ties the record for the highest rating ever secured by an Indian bowler, a feat previously set by spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. With the upcoming Melbourne Test, Bumrah has a golden opportunity to surpass this record and cement his legacy further.
Bumrah’s achievement comes on the back of an exceptional performance in Brisbane, where he claimed figures of 9/94, earning 14 rating points to solidify his position at the top of the Test Bowling Rankings. South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada and Australia’s Josh Hazlewood occupy the second and third spots, trailing the in-form Indian pacer.
