
India’s explosive opener Shafali Verma has re-entered the top 10 of the ICC Women’s T20I Batting Rankings, climbing four spots to ninth following her impressive performances in the recently concluded five-match series against England. Shafali scored 176 runs at a blistering strike rate of 158.56, finishing as India’s second-highest run-scorer behind Smriti Mandhana. Her standout knock came in the final match where she smashed 75 off just 41 balls in a thrilling last-ball defeat.
All-rounder Arundhati Reddy also made significant gains in the updated rankings. After taking six wickets during the series, including two in the decider, she jumped four spots to 39th in the Bowling Rankings and made a massive leap of 26 positions to reach 80th in the All-Rounder standings. India clinched the series 3-2, with several players contributing across departments.

Several England players also saw positive movement in the rankings. Spinner Charlie Dean moved into the top 10 for bowlers, climbing eight places to sixth after her match-winning 3/23 in the final T20I. Linsey Smith rose nine spots to 38th, Issy Wong jumped seven to 50th, and Emily Arlott, who debuted earlier this summer, moved up 15 places to 67th. Among the batters, Sophia Dunkley, England’s leading scorer with 151 runs, advanced to 19th place, while Tammy Beaumont surged 19 spots to 45th after consistent contributions in the latter half of the series.
