All matches are scheduled as day games and will take place entirely in Colombo. This series will provide important competitive preparation for all three teams ahead of the World Cup later this year.
Currently, the Sri Lankan women’s team is playing an away white-ball series against New Zealand. Meanwhile, key Indian and South African players are actively participating in the ongoing Women’s Premier League (WPL) Season 3, hosted by India.
In terms of team rankings, India is the highest-ranked side in the series, currently placed third in the ICC Women’s ODI Rankings. South Africa, who notably eliminated India in the 2022 World Cup group stage and eventually reached the semifinals, holds fourth place. Sri Lanka, who recently claimed the Asia Cup title, stands at seventh.
