Mumbai Marines have revealed a star-studded squad for the inaugural season of the Big Cricket League (BCL) 2024, with former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan at the helm. The team features an impressive blend of international icons, seasoned domestic players, and emerging talents, promising a competitive edge in the much-anticipated tournament.
Joining Pathan are West Indies’ explosive opener Lendl Simmons and South African big-hitter Richard Levi, adding international flair to the lineup. The squad also includes Sri Lankan spinner Malinda Pushpakumara and Indian pacer Manpreet Gony to strengthen the bowling attack, while former Sri Lankan batsman Chamara Silva brings stability and experience to the middle order.

The Big Cricket League, debuting on December 12 in Surat, will feature six elite teams led by cricket legends such as Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan, Imran Tahir, Yusuf Pathan, and Tillakaratne Dilshan. This innovative tournament aims to blend high-quality cricket with entertainment, offering a platform for emerging players to compete alongside global stars.
