The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have embarked on a historic Trophy Tour, beginning in Guwahati, as part of an initiative to bring the IPL celebration beyond their home city. This marks the first time an IPL franchise has organized such a tour, allowing fans across the country to witness the prestigious IPL trophy up close and be a part of the team’s success.
The much-anticipated tour kicked off on February 14 in Guwahati, where the trophy made its first stop at the iconic Kamakhya Temple before proceeding to the Brahmaputra Riverfront in Panbazar. The final stop in the city was at the City Center Mall, where cricket enthusiasts gathered in large numbers to capture memorable moments with the trophy. The event highlighted the deep connection between KKR and its passionate fanbase in Northeast India.

Fans had the opportunity to engage in interactive activities, including cricket-themed games such as Cricket Rock Paper Scissors and Cricket Pong. Exciting giveaways and prizes added to the celebratory atmosphere, making the event even more special for attendees.
The Trophy Tour is set to travel across nine cities before concluding in Kolkata on March 12 and 16. Alongside Guwahati, the tour will cover Bhubaneswar, Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Gangtok, Siliguri, Patna, Durgapur, and finally, the City of Joy—Kolkata.
Through this initiative, KKR aims to strengthen its bond with supporters across India, giving them a first-hand experience of the trophy and an opportunity to celebrate the franchise’s achievements. The tour is designed to create lasting memories for fans who have continuously supported the team over the years, inviting them to be a part of the Knight Riders’ family in a unique and engaging way.
