Mohammed Siraj and New Signings Ignite Excitement Ahead of IPL 2025 with Gujarat Titans

The Gujarat Titans (GT) have significantly bolstered their squad for the upcoming IPL 2025 season with the acquisition of prominent fast bowler Mohammed Siraj and several key players during the 2024 Indian Premier League Mega Auction. The new signees, including Kulwant Khejroliya, Glenn Phillips, and Jayant Yadav, have expressed their enthusiasm about joining the Titans, signaling a promising season ahead for the franchise.

Mohammed Siraj emerged as the marquee signing for GT, fetched at a substantial Rs 12.25 crore. Known for his pace and ability to deliver crucial breakthroughs, Siraj is expected to be a cornerstone of GT’s bowling attack. In a spirited welcome video posted on GT’s official X handle, the team captured the excitement with the message, “Stumps flying, crowd joining in on the SIUUU. We can already picture it, Siraj bhai.” Responding to the warm reception, Siraj shared his excitement: “Hi GT family, I am super excited to join you all. Jaldi milenge ground par, Aava de” (See you soon on the ground, bring it on).

Adding to the excitement, Kulwant Khejroliya was signed for his base price of Rs 30 lakh. Khejroliya expressed his gratitude and eagerness to contribute to the team’s success. “Hello Gujarat, kem cho? I am Kulwant Khejroliya. I want to thank the Gujarat Titans’ management for keeping faith in me, and I am excited to join the team. Will meet soon, Aava de,” he stated, reflecting his readiness to make an impact.

New Zealand’s versatile Glenn Phillips was also secured by GT for his base price of Rs 2 crore. Known for his all-round capabilities, Phillips is anticipated to add depth to the Titans’ lineup. GT welcomed him with the message, “Master of all trades. Glenn bhai, we’re counting down the days!” In return, Phillips shared his enthusiasm: “Hey everyone, super excited to be joining the Gujarat Titans for the IPL 2025 season. Can’t wait to get amongst the new team, super excited to get out there. Aava de.”

Reinforcing the squad’s strength, Jayant Yadav returned to GT for Rs 75 lakh, bringing experience and skill to the team’s batting and bowling departments. The Titans celebrated his return with the announcement, “Jayant bhai, the Titans’ den roars louder with you back!” Yadav responded with heartfelt excitement: “Hi guys, super excited to be back home. Will see you soon on the ground. Aava de.”
