Pakistani Cricketer Shahnawaz Dahani’s Singing Attempt Goes Viral

Pakistani pacer Shahnawaz Dahani recently found himself in the spotlight for an unexpected reason – his impromptu singing performance at a ceremony. The cricketer’s singing video went viral after his teammate Hassan Ali shared it on social media.

In the video, Dahani is seen trying his hand at singing, attempting the famous 90s song ‘Jab koi baat bigar jaye.’ While his enthusiasm for singing is evident, his rendition missed the mark, as he struggled with the scale and couldn’t quite keep up with the music beat. Notably, he was reading the lyrics from his mobile phone during the performance.

Hassan Ali playfully captioned the video as “New Singer in the house,” but the netizens had mixed reactions to Dahani’s singing skills. Some social media users urged him to stick to his cricketing talents, while others cheekily compared him to Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, known for his distinctive singing style.

This is not the first instance where Dahani has showcased his singing abilities. He had previously sung in the local language with children in Zimbabwe, displaying his passion for music alongside cricket.

Shahnawaz Dahani rose to prominence when he made his international debut for the Pakistan national cricket team in November 2021. His fast bowling skills and performances have earned him a fan following in the cricketing community.

As the video continues to circulate across various social media platforms, fans remain amused and curious about Dahani’s hidden singing talent. While his cricketing prowess remains his primary focus, it’s clear that he enjoys entertaining both on and off the field.
