Radha Yadav to Lead India A Women’s Squad for Multi-Format Tour of Australia Starting August 7

India A women’s cricket team is set to embark on a multi-format tour of Australia from August 7 to 24, 2025, with experienced spinner Radha Yadav appointed as captain for all three formats. The squad, announced by the Women’s Selection Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), features several notable names including international stars Shafali Verma, Minnu Mani, and Shreyanka Patil.

The tour begins in Mackay with a three-match T20 series starting on August 7. Following the T20s, the team will travel to Norths, Brisbane, for three 50-over matches commencing August 13. The final leg of the tour will be a four-day red-ball fixture against Australia A, scheduled to start on August 21 at the Allan Border Field.

Minnu Mani will serve as vice-captain across all formats. The T20 squad includes Radha Yadav (captain), Minnu Mani (vice-captain), Shafali Verma, D. Vrinda, Sajana Sajeevan, Uma Chetry (wicketkeeper), Raghvi Bist, Shreyanka Patil (subject to fitness), Prema Rawat, Nandini Kashyap (wicketkeeper), Tanuja Kanwer, Joshita VJ, Shabnam Shakeel, Saima Thakor, and Titas Sadhu.

The One-Day and Multi-Day squad features largely the same core with a few changes: Radha Yadav (captain), Minnu Mani (vice-captain), Shafali Verma, Tejal Hasabnis, Raghvi Bist, Tanushree Sarkar, Uma Chetry (wicketkeeper), Priya Mishra (subject to fitness), Tanuja Kanwer, Nandini Kashyap (wicketkeeper), Dhara Gujjar, Joshita VJ, Shabnam Shakeel, Saima Thakor, and Titas Sadhu.

The availability of Shreyanka Patil for the T20 series and Priya Mishra for the one-day and multi-day matches will depend on fitness clearances from the BCCI Centre of Excellence.
