Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, often referred to as the ‘God of Cricket’, redefined the standards of the sport during his illustrious 25-year career. As a role model and benchmark for generations of cricketers, Tendulkar’s impact on the game remains unparalleled. To mark his 50th birthday on April 24, a special book titled Sachin@50 will be released, featuring essays and contributions from fellow cricketers, sports personalities, and celebrities.

“Sachin Tendulkar was my role model and inspiration. He was the benchmark,” said Rohit Sharma, as quoted in the book. Sunil Gavaskar, Sourav Ganguly, Harbhajan Singh, David Warner, and Michael Clarke, among others, also shared their admiration for Tendulkar in the commemorative publication.
