The reigning champions of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL), the Tiigers of Kolkata, are set to defend their title with a revamped squad after a successful player auction held in Mumbai on December 11. With a total investment of Rs 97.45 Lakhs, the team has secured 16 players in preparation for Season 2 of this high-energy tennis-ball cricket tournament.
Aspect Sports, the franchise owner of the Tiigers of Kolkata, employed a calculated approach during the auction. The team’s lineup features a blend of rising grassroots talent and seasoned players, with significant investments made in emerging stars from the West Zone to strengthen their roster.

The excitement for ISPL Season 2 kicks off on January 26, 2025, with matches scheduled to take place at the renowned Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane. The tournament will see six competitive teams vying for glory over three weeks, culminating in the grand finale on February 15, 2025.
