World Tennis Cricket League (WTCL) launched with T10 format in India

Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh, in collaboration with league director Shivain Sharma, launched the groundbreaking World Tennis Cricket League (WTCL) T10 at a press conference in New Delhi. The innovative concept aims to merge the precision of tennis with the strategy and excitement of cricket, creating a brand-new category of sports entertainment.

Harbhajan, serving as the Brand Ambassador for WTCL T10, expressed his excitement about the league’s potential to redefine the boundaries of sport. “Throughout my career, I have always believed in pushing the boundaries of sport, and the World Tennis Cricket League is a testament to that philosophy. This league represents a bold new vision that pushes cricket to newer depths, and I am confident it will captivate sports fans across the world,” he said at the event.

The WTCL T10 format introduces a unique blend of tennis scoring with cricket’s fast-paced T10 dynamics, demanding innovative strategies and player selection. By combining these elements, the league promises to deliver a fresh and thrilling experience for global sports fans.

Shivain Sharma, the league director, highlighted the entertainment value and global appeal of the concept. “WTCL T10 represents a revolutionary step in sports entertainment. By combining two beloved sports into one exciting format, we aim to capture audiences worldwide and create a unique spectacle,” he said.

During the launch, Harbhajan Singh also congratulated Jay Shah on his recent leadership role at the International Cricket Council (ICC). “I would like to congratulate Jay Shah for his leadership at the ICC. His vision for the future of cricket is shaping the game at a global level, and I believe his efforts will continue to elevate cricket’s impact, not only in larger nations but also in smaller, emerging cricket markets,” Harbhajan remarked.
