The Legends League Cricket (LLC) is set to kickstart from today with tournament’s first match between India Maharajas and Asia Lions. The tournament, which is set to take place from March 10th to 20th at the Asian Town Cricket Stadium in Doha, Qatar, promises to be 10 days of non-stop thrill, excitement, suspense, and pure cricketing grandeur.
Three teams namely Asia Lions, India Maharajas and World Giants are participating in the tournament who will play eight matches including Eliminator and Finals.
The Asia Lions team have some prominent Pakistani cricketers which will be interesting for fans to see live in action after a long time. Along with Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Akhtar, Misbah ul Haq, Mohammad Hafeez, Abdul Razzaq, and Sohail Tanvir will participate.
Shahid Afridi, the former Pakistani cricket team captain, is extremely happy to play alongside his old teammates like Shoaib, Hafeez, and Razzaq. Across all three teams, they have shared moments of rivalry, friendship, and some really big matches. Afridi says that he is glad that he is getting another chance to entertain cricket lovers across the world at LLC Masters.
