Yuzvendra Chahal, Riyan Parag, and Rahul Tewatia are set to headline the Shani’s Trophy, a unique cricket tournament scheduled to take place in Lucknow in February. Organized in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) and the Cricket Association of Lucknow (CAL), the tournament promises to showcase top-tier cricketing talent from across India.
The tournament will feature a blend of current Ranji Trophy players, state-level cricketers, and retired stalwarts, bringing together a diverse and talented group of participants. Among the marquee players, Chahal, one of India’s leading leg-spinners, is expected to be a major draw. Other prominent players include IPL stars Riyan Parag and Rahul Tewatia, alongside Sai Sudharsan and Jayant Yadav.

The Shani’s Trophy introduces a unique 25-over format, adding an exciting twist to traditional cricket matches. Adding to the event’s prestige, former Indian cricketer and ex-BCCI selector Chetan Sharma has been announced as the brand ambassador for the Shani’s Trophy. The tournament is being jointly organized by the UPCA and CAL in collaboration with Divya Future Sports.
Sumit Shukla, president of Shani’s Trophy and managing director of Divya Future Sports, expressed excitement about the event. “With the backing of the UPCA and CAL and the participation of some of the finest cricketers, we aim to deliver an unforgettable cricketing experience for fans,” he stated.
