Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced two separate T20 and ODI squads for the upcoming New Zealand tour, set to begin next month. The full-strength squads for the home series against New Zealand will be led by Babar Azam as captain and Shadab Khan as vice-captain.
Star fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi is slated to make his return to international cricket after a four-month absence. The series, scheduled to take place in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi, will run from April 14 to May 7.

Azam will resume his duties as captain for both the ODI and T20I series against New Zealand, with Shadab returning to his original position as vice-captain.
Young talents Ihsanullah, Saim Ayub, and Zaman Khan have been retained in the T20I squad following impressive performances in Sharjah. Ihsanullah will also join the ODI squad for the first time in his career.
The players will assemble in Lahore on April 6, with a training camp commencing on April 7. The series kicks off in Lahore with the first T20I on April 14.
