Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali has etched his name into the record books after becoming the fastest bowler in T20 cricket history to claim 350 wickets.

The landmark achievement came during a Vitality Blast fixture against Leicestershire, where the experienced right-arm pacer delivered another impressive performance and finished with four wickets.

With the latest scalps, Hasan reached 350 T20 wickets in only 243 matches, setting a new world record in the format. The previous record belonged to Afghanistan star Rashid Khan, who had completed 350 wickets in 251 matches.

The achievement is another major milestone in Hasan’s career, highlighting his consistency and effectiveness across domestic leagues and franchise tournaments around the world. Known for his ability to strike with the new ball and deliver breakthroughs in the middle overs, Hasan has remained a key performer in T20 cricket for several years.

The 31-year-old first gained international prominence during Pakistan’s triumphant ICC Champions Trophy campaign in 2017, where he finished as the tournament’s leading wicket-taker and played a crucial role in helping Pakistan lift the title.

Since then, Hasan has represented Pakistan across formats while also building an impressive record in T20 competitions in different countries. His ability to generate movement, bowl variations and perform under pressure has made him one of Pakistan’s most successful white-ball bowlers of the modern era.
