Pakistan cricket has confirmed the iconic Inzamam-ul-Haq as the chief selector of the Pakistan men’s senior national team ahead of the highly anticipated 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup in India. He stands as the top scorer in international cricket for Pakistan and ranks 11th globally in terms of total runs scored.

In Tests, Inzamam is celebrated for his exemplary batting, having notched up 8,830 runs in 120 matches, accompanied by 25 centuries and 46 fifties. His career-defining innings include a monumental best score of 329. Similarly, in ODIs, he has etched his name in cricketing history, tallying 11,739 runs in 378 matches, featuring 10 centuries and 83 half-centuries, with a top score of 137*.
