With eight wins and 16 points, GT holds the top position, while LSG stands third with five wins and 11 points. Chasing 228 runs, LSG started strong with an 88-run opening stand between Quinton de Kock and Kyle Mayers. However, Mohit Sharma’s four-wicket haul led to LSG’s collapse.

LSG reached 72/0 in six overs, but Mohit Sharma dismissed Mayers for 48, breaking the opening partnership. De Kock scored a half-century in 31 balls, but LSG’s innings faltered, with wickets falling at regular intervals. LSG needed 73 runs in the last two overs but ended their innings at 171/7. Mohit Sharma finished with figures of 4/29, while Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmed, and Mohammed Shami took one wicket each.

Earlier, GT openers Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill provided a strong start, with Saha scoring a half-century in 20 balls. GT reached 78/0 in six overs, and the 142-run opening stand was broken when Avesh Khan dismissed Saha for 81.
