Gujarat Titans’ captain Hardik Pandya reached an impressive milestone by completing 2000 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) here on Sunday. This accomplishment took place during the game against the Rajasthan Royals at the Narendra Modi Stadium. In the eighth over, Pandya struck the decisive runs, launching a carrom ball from off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin over mid-off/extra cover.

Entering the match only 16 runs short of the 2000-run milestone, Pandya has now become a member of an exclusive club of IPL players with 2000+ runs and 50+ wickets to their names. Over his nine-year, 100-match IPL career, the explosive all-rounder has claimed 50 wickets. Pandya joins the ranks of Shane Watson, Andre Russell, Ravindra Jadeja, Kieron Pollard, and Jacques Kallis, who have all achieved this remarkable feat in the league.
