The reason behind this shift is the unsuitable playing conditions at the HPCA Stadium due to the harsh winter weather in the area. Specifically, the lack of sufficient grass density on the outfield means that it would not be suitable for hosting a high-level cricket match.

The decision to move the match to the Holkar Stadium in Indore is a sensible one, as this stadium has excellent facilities for players, officials, and spectators alike. It will undoubtedly create a new level of excitement and anticipation among cricket fans. Additionally, the playing conditions at this stadium are known to be of a very high standard, which will ensure that the match can be played to the best of the players’ abilities.

The change of venue for the third Test of the Mastercard Australia tour of India is a reminder of the importance of adapting to changing circumstances in sports. It also highlights the need to prioritize the safety and well-being of the players while ensuring that the fans can still enjoy high-quality cricket.

This stadium has a history of hosting memorable cricket matches, and the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy is sure to be another thrilling encounter that fans will remember for years to come.
