Arjun Tendulkar, son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, found himself back with Mumbai Indians after the franchise acquired him at his base price of ₹30 lakh. The move marks a return to familiar territory for the young pacer as he aims to make a mark in the upcoming season.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) made a concerted effort to strengthen their bowling unit in the final phase of the auction. The team secured right-arm medium-fast bowler Abhinandan Singh for ₹30 lakh and South African pacer Lungi Ngidi for ₹1 crore. Ngidi, known for his variations and ability to deliver under pressure, adds experience and skill to RCB’s pace attack.
In addition, the final player of the auction, Mohit Rathee, was also signed by RCB for ₹30 lakh, further enhancing their bowling options for IPL 2025.

- Rajasthan Royals (RR): The inaugural IPL champions added Kunal Rathore and Ashok Sharma to their roster, each for ₹30 lakh.
- Gujarat Titans (GT): Left-arm pacer Kulwant Khejroliya, currently playing for Madhya Pradesh, was picked by GT for ₹30 lakh.
Players Who Went Unsold
While the auction was a success for some, several notable players remained unsold:
- Shivam Mavi: The capped pacer, who previously played for KKR, GT, and LSG, failed to attract any bids.
- Ottneil Baartman (South Africa): The pacer found no takers in the auction.
- Raj Limbani: The U19 pacer and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy debutant went unsold, despite his recent performances.
