IPL Playoffs Schedule: GT to face CSK in Qualifier 1 while MI takes on LSG in IPL Eliminator Match

The teams for the IPL playoffs and the schedule are now confirmed. We have all the top four spots sealed following the Gujarat Titans’ win against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday. This victory was significant because it not only put the Titans on top but also eliminated the Royal Challengers from the playoffs. Furthermore, it allowed the Mumbai Indians to secure the fourth spot for the playoffs.

After all the league matches, we now know where all the teams stand. The Gujarat Titans are leading the pack. They played 14 matches and won 10 of them, earning 20 points. Their run rate is 0.809. The Chennai Super Kings are right behind them. They also played 14 matches, but they only won 8. This gave them 17 points and a run rate of 0.652.

The Lucknow Super Giants have the same record as the Super Kings – 14 matches, 8 wins, and 17 points. But their run rate is lower, at 0.284. The Mumbai Indians are in fourth place. They also played 14 matches, but they only won 8, earning them 16 points. Their run rate is -0.044.

So, what’s next? On Tuesday, the Gujarat Titans and the Chennai Super Kings will face off in Qualifier 1 the first qualifying match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. Then, on Wednesday, the Lucknow Super Giants and the Mumbai Indians will play in an Eliminator match at the same stadium.

The team that loses the first qualifier and the team that wins the Eliminator will then play each other in the second qualifier at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat on Friday.
