In the final stages of the match, Shankar capitalized on the platform set by the top batters, punishing Ferguson for 25 runs in an over, which included two sixes, two fours, and a no-ball. Shankar reached his fifty in just 21 balls with a six and continued his onslaught by hitting two more sixes in consecutive balls, completing a hat-trick of sixes.
