India’s cricket stalwarts Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah were at the center of an electrifying training session as the team geared up for the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Adelaide. The pink-ball Test, starting Friday, will see India look to extend their 1-0 lead in the series after a record-breaking 295-run victory in Perth.
The training session featured high-intensity drills, with throwdowns, bowling practice, and head-to-head duels among the highlights. A standout moment unfolded when Kohli took the crease to face Bumrah, sparking a fierce battle. Kohli initially let a couple of deliveries go, carefully observing Bumrah’s pace and movement. However, he soon showcased his trademark precision with a stunning backfoot punch, underscoring his readiness to face India’s ace pacer under pressure.

His deliveries kept batsmen guessing, troubling not just Kohli but also the likes of Rishabh Pant and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Pant was beaten outside the edge, and Jaiswal was caught behind while facing Bumrah’s fiery spells.
