Livingstone’s Heroics Propel Bangla Tigers to Thrilling Victory in Abu Dhabi T10

Abu Dhabi witnessed an electrifying game on Monday as English all-rounder Liam Livingstone delivered a stellar performance, leading the Bangla Tigers to their first win of the Abu Dhabi T10 season. Livingstone’s unbeaten 40 off just 12 balls, laced with five towering sixes and three boundaries, was the highlight of the Tigers’ dramatic chase against the Delhi Bulls.

The Tigers, tasked with chasing down a challenging target of 124, found themselves in a precarious position needing 35 runs from the last 10 balls. Enter Livingstone, who immediately took control, smashing boundaries with ease to guide his team to a seven-wicket victory. His explosive knock turned the game on its head, leaving spectators in awe of his power hitting.

Earlier in the game, the Delhi Bulls had set the stage with a remarkable performance from Punjab-origin batter Nikhil Chaudhary. His unbeaten 47 off 16 balls propelled the Bulls to a formidable total of 123/6 in their allotted 10 overs. Despite the strong start, Livingstone’s late-game heroics ensured the Tigers emerged victorious.

In another exciting clash, the Mohammad Nabi-led Ajman Bolts secured their first win of the season, thanks to brilliant half-centuries from former England international Ravi Bopara and Afghanistan’s Gulbadin Naib. Bopara’s 56 off 21 balls and Naib’s 55 off 24 powered Ajman to an imposing 142/6.

The Chennai Brave Jaguars mounted a spirited chase, with notable contributions from Rassie van der Dussen (24 off 12) and captain Thisara Perera, who smashed 36 off 13 balls. Despite their efforts, the Jaguars fell short, managing 124/5 in their 10 overs. Nabi, leading from the front, picked up two key wickets to secure an 18-run victory for the Bolts.
