Current and latest LPL 2022 Points Table listing current team standings and rankings with total wins, losses and points after each game played this year. Each of the five teams including Colombo Kings, Dambulla Viiking, Galle Gladiators, Jaffna Stallions and Kandy Tuskers plays 10 matches and top 4 teams qualify for CPL semi-finals based on the points table listed below. The LPL Points Table is based on the ICC System where each team is awarded 2 points for win during group stages. In case of a draw during the group stage, winner shall be decided through super over. The Lanka Premier League 2022 Points Table shows wins, losses, total points, net run rate after each match.
All teams play 30 matches during group stage. Top 4 advance to semi-finals and finals.

How does the CPL Points Table in 2022 work?
The LPL points table 2022 shows current LPL standings with updated LPL team rankings for all eight teams. The team with most number of win and points are placed on top of the table. An overview of what happens to the points table during league stage and what happens after is given in depth below:
League stage
**** If points are equal, the team with the most wins will be placed in the higher position.
**** If there are teams with equal points and equal wins, the team with the higher net run rate will be placed in the higher position.
**** If still equal, then the team with the higher number of wickets taken per fair balls bowled in the matches played in which results were achieved will be placed in the higher position.
**** If still equal then the team position will be determined by drawing lots.
Play-off matches
If any of the Final, the Eliminator, Qualifier 1 or Qualifier 2 matches are tied, or there is no result, the following shall apply…
**** Teams shall compete in a Super Over to determine the winner.
**** If conditions do not permit a Super Over within the time available or if the Super Over is tied, then the team which, at the end of the relevant regular Season, finished in the higher position in the League table will be deemed the winner of the relevant play-off match.
