For RR, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 47 off 37 and Devdutt Padikkal contributed a quick 52 off 34. Despite their efforts, RR could not achieve the target of 190. Their innings started poorly, losing Jos Buttler early to Siraj. Jaiswal and Padikkal counter-attacked, bringing the score to 41/1 at the end of the Powerplay. The pair continued to find the boundary, reaching 92/1 at the halfway mark.

Willey’s breakthrough removed Padikkal, and RCB tightened their grip on the match. Patel dismissed Jaiswal and Sanju Samson, leaving RR needing 61 off 24 balls. RCB lost wickets consistently in the final five overs but still managed to post a competitive total of 189/9 in 20 overs.
